1st General Body Meeting

Join the MIS Society in welcoming new members and returning members at our 1st General Body Meeting next Wednesday night! We have planned many exciting events for you this semester and can't wait to share. We've also invited Dr. Andriole to come speak that night. Even if you're unsure if MIS is a major/minor you'd like to pursue, we encourage all to attend and learn about how MIS Society can help you grow both personally and professionally.

EY Advisory 101

EY will be joining us to kick off the semester with opportunities in their Advisory practice. Advisory is one of EY's fastest growing service lines. Dr. Wagner (MIS professor) and Dr. Way (Computer Science professor) were given a Google Glass grant this past summer to develop a memory aid for everyone from the absent-minded to the Alzheimer sufferers. Come hear about their research experience and see first-hand the capabilities of this revolutionary emerging tech!

Sara Haas (Marketing Specialist) is going to give a brief overview of the firm and its primary technological roles, as well as provide a demo on FactSet's software. VSB's very own Finance Lab also features the amazing capabilities of this technology. Come see how FactSet utilizes its software to present financial analytics!
